Description
| Description (Service) | Emergency room care. Full time emergency doctors and general practitioners, nurses and other health professionals assess and treat life-threatening injuries or severe illness. Collingwood General and Marine Hospital has launched a pilot project that allows patients to book their emergency department visits in advance. They will be able to book a same-day or next-day arrival time to be assessed and treated for minor injuries to a limb (sprain, strain or simple fracture, etc.) or minor symptoms of flu, cold or other respiratory illnesses. Five arrival times will be scheduled Mon-Fri 8 am-9:15 am. |
