Description (Service)

Provides assistance for those experiencing poverty and/or homelessness.
Offers services for individuals, youth and families being impacted by homelessness in Simcoe County, including assisting people find emergency shelters, finding permanent accommodations for those experiencing homelessness and preventing homelessness for those at risk of losing permanent housing.
Services include:

Centralized Shelter Access Intake Line (Barrie) - 705-828-3795
Shelter and Outreach Services
Homelessness Services and Shelter Supports
Assistance obtaining a birth certificate (fee waived for those who are marginally housed or experiencing homelessness)
