Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, the museum will be closed until further notice Regular Service Cultural, historical museum * Includes the Black communities of Oro, Collingwood/Owen Sound, Artemesia (Priceville Black Cemetery) and surrounding settlements * Offers guided/self guided tours describing the accomplishments of founding Black pioneers and their contribution to Canadian society * The Museum has several hand crafted model ships, displays and artifacts * Tour includes a heritage walk, Underground Railroad quilt, African beginnings, pioneer life, farm implements and black memorabilia * Ample parking and picnic tables are available to visitors. |
