Description (Service) National, community based organization of volunteers dedicated to the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. Services include: 
* transportation service to and from treatment centres - for transportation requirements, please call the dedicated toll free line 
* health promotion 
* emotional support for patients and their families 
* public education regarding cancer prevention and detection 
* fundraising for research 
Free wigs, turbans, breast prosthetics and blankets for cancer patients are available directly from the Owen Sound hospital (Oncology department, 5th floor)
