Description (Service) The ALS Society of Ontario partners with persons who have ALS, and their caregivers and families, to provide information and support to help manage the effects of the disease. Referrals to counselling and support groups, peer support, Home Visiting Volunteers and Caregiver Mentorship Program  
 
ALS Canada's equipment program for basic and essential equipment, also loans out equipment or subsidizes the cost of new equipment. A list of equipment covered is available on the website, also provides limited financial assistance for ADP, assisted devices. The ALS equipment program also accepts donated equipment.  
 
Resource guide and information available on website include financial and legal issues, assistive devices, home care, nursing and homemaking services, caregiving and disability benefits.
