Description

Description (Service) Offers a secure and convenient payment for Provincial Offences Act (POA) violations. This service can be used to pay Traffic Violations and other POA fines issued under the:
  • Highway Traffic Act
  • Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
  • Liquor Licence Act
  • Trespass to Property Act
  • other Provincial acts
Provincial offences are regulatory (non-criminal) offences such as:
  • speeding, careless driving or not wearing your seat belt
  • failing to surrender your insurance card or possessing a false or invalid insurance card
  • being intoxicated in a public place or selling alcohol to a minor
  • trespassing or failing to leave premises after being directed to do so
  • Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ministry of Environment violations
  • noise, taxi and animal care municipal bylaws

Application Payments can be made by phone, online at www.paytickets.ca, in person at any Provincial Offences Office in the Province of Ontario, or by mail. Do not send cash in the mail
