| Description (Service) | Provides administrative services and courtroom support to all judicial officers in the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice.  Ontario Court of Justice - responsible for most criminal trials, all bail and preliminary hearings, young offenders, provincial offences, and some family cases including adoption, support and custody, and child protection Superior Court of Justice - responsible for all jury trials and civil cases, some family cases including divorce, custody, support and property division, some criminal trials (generally of a more serious nature), some appeals, small claims court.
