Description (Service) | Provides shelter and adoption services for homeless animals, conducts investigations of cruel and neglectful treatment of animals and offers humane education. * posts branch pets available for adoption on the website * helps to reunite lost pets with their owners * holds "No Hot Pets in Cars" campaign during the summer www.nohotpets.ca - call toll free number to report pets suffering from heat Contracted by the Town of Orangeville, The Town of Mono and the Town of Erin to enforce and administer related bylaws and provincial rules. The Animal Control Bylaw deals with issues such as: barking dogs * dogs off leash * biting dogs * "poop and scoop" * prohibited animals * dog tags Does not assist in getting bats or raccoons or skunks out of attics or houses or cats out of trees and does not loan traps |
