Description (Service) Resource centre offers free employment resources including: access to computers, internet, phone and fax services * onsite employment resource specialists * exclusive and local job postings * career related workshops and webinars * resumé writing assistance * computer and Internet access * interview preparation and assistance * one on one employment coaching 
 
Also offers: 
 
Earn and Learn Program - earn youth gaining skills and experience with assistance to explore career choices, get on-the-job experience, workplace mentorship and learn problem-solving, life skills and personal management, while earning money: 
* programs are delivered during the year to prepare you for a successful career 
* assistance for high school students seeking experience and part-time employment with work placements in your area of interest 
* group workshops on employability skills that focus on topics such as effective communication, resumé writing and job search strategies 
* back to work supports such as uniforms, safety equipment and tools 
* financial incentive programs for full-time, part-time and summer job seekers 
 
Employer services - offer a broad range of free services to help you grow your business, including: 
* financial support to grow your workforce - take advantage of funding options and programs available for businesses, not-for-profits and public sector organizations. Wage subsidies and monetary incentives are available for your next hire, training your current employees and training youth 
* hiring employees - no-cost job posting services, online and in person access to motivated job seekers candidate screening, placement, monitoring and retention strategies and support financial incentives to offset the cost of training 
* workforce training and support - support in identifying human resources needs and filling vacancies, information and referral to local programs, services and resources that are vital to employers 
* downsizing and layoffs - preparation for re-entry into the job search market, employment search assistance, re-training support 
* training and apprenticeships - hiring incentives and employer bonus programs 
* labour forecasting - labour market information, forecasting labour supply 
* employment and labour standards material 
 
Services are also offered two days per week at the Shelburne Employment Resource Centre (Mel Lloyd Centre, 167 Centre St Entrance E, Shelburne)

Hours Orangeville: Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm * Shelburne: Tue and Wed 8:30 am-12:30 pm
