Description (Service) Low income residents of the County of Dufferin may be eligible for financial assistance to help find or keep housing * eligible expenses include last month's rent, utility deposits, and rent and utility arrears * other housing-related expenses may be considered, such as moving and storage, or emergency needs for people who are homeless

Eligibility Applicants must access all other sources of funding (Ontario Works, ODSP) before applying for Homelessness Prevention Funds. If applicants owe more than the fund can pay, they may be asked to make partial payment to the supplier before amounts from the fund are paid.
Application Applications can be picked up at Community Services front desk and/or at the Ontario Early Years Centres in Shelburne and Grand Valley, or be obtained from website. Upon completion, return the application to 30 Centre Street, Orangeville. Determination of eligibility can only be completed when photo copies have been submitted of required information.
