Description (Service)

Provides information, education and support for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and their caregivers.
Services include:

support groups including ongoing monthly support group meetings, early stage, parental and spousal
individualized and family support addressing specific issues
free public lectures and information sessions throughout the year
stress management strategies
Making Memories drop in program
Volunteer Companion program (respite)
caregiver wellbeing centre includes a lending library of books, videos and publications of interest to families, professionals, students and the public
volunteer training centre - use for community groups (capacity 20 people)

Satellite Office in Shelburne is located at the Mel Lloyd Health Centre, 167 Centre Street
