Description

Description (Service) Provides information, education and support for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and their caregivers.
Services include:
  • support groups including ongoing monthly support group meetings, early stage, parental and spousal
  • individualized and family support addressing specific issues
  • free public lectures and information sessions throughout the year
  • stress management strategies
  • Making Memories drop in program
  • Volunteer Companion program (respite)
  • caregiver wellbeing centre includes a lending library of books, videos and publications of interest to families, professionals, students and the public
  • volunteer training centre - use for community groups (capacity 20 people)
Satellite Office in Shelburne is located at the Mel Lloyd Health Centre, 167 Centre Street

Hours Orangeville: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm; evenings and weekends by appointment
Shelburne Satellite Office: Wed 8:30 am-4:30 pm or by appointment
