Description

Description (Service) Offers tele-intervention, home visiting, early intervention and prevention services and supports to assist families with infants and toddlers with established risks, biological risks and psycho-social risks of delays in development or disability to attain an optimal level of development.

Parents are recognized as primary participants in this process. All services and supports are family-centred.

Services include:
  • home visiting , tele-intervention, video conferencing,
  • developmental screening and assessment
  • individualized, play-based programming in areas of child development
  • service navigation
  • cognitive and social skills development
  • community education
  • professional development

Service Details

Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, evening appointments arranged on request
Areas Served Bruce County ; Grey County ; Grey and Bruce Counties are served by the Infant and Child Development Programs provided by Community Living Owen Sound and District, Community Living Kincardine and District, Community Living Walkerton and District.
Eligibility Ages: 6 year(s) and under 
 
Children at risk of delays in development and children with identified special needs. Children are eligible for services until school entry.
Application Call to make a referral or request a consultation. Informed parental consent is required.
