| Description (Service) | Participates in fundraising for many charitable projects and organizations from youth to seniors, including third world countries for specific projects. Annual events include a Citizen of the Year award, Canada Day at Russ Bumstead Rotary Harbor Pavilion, Fish Fry in late July, Pancake Breakfast and trivia nights. Operate a "low rent" apartment complex ( Godfrey Apartments ) providing affordable housing service. Financial support is extended annually to many organizations that provide other vital services to the community including Meaford Hospital, Meaford Library, Meaford Foodbank and Outreach and United Way. Also supports groups such as the Agricultural Society, Meaford Scarecrow Invasion, Coyote Running Club and the Meaford Skating Club. Internationally the club contributes to the provision of clean water by building hand pumped wells in Tanzania and the elimination of Polio. |

| Hours | Sep-Jun: meets 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mon (except statutory holidays) 5:30 pm Summer: meetings held at members' homes for bbq dinner and fellowship, times may vary. Thrift Store: Wed 10 am-2 pm, Thu 4 pm-7 pm, Fri 10 am-2 pm, Sat 10 am-3 pm. Drop off donations during store hours or by appointment Fish Fry: 3rd Fri of Jul, 5 pm-7:30 pm Contact for information on other programs. |
