Description (Service) | Promotes boating safety through instruction and also good fellowship among enthusiasts of both power and sail boating nationwide Offers: * courses and testing to obtain the Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) * training in Basic Boating knowledge and skill * Boating Essentials Course to learn more once a PCOC is obtained * advanced training available to full or Associate members for Restricted Operator's Certificate (Maritime) licence for VHF Radio operation and seamanship courses A Pleasure Craft Operator Card from CPS (boating licence) is officially recognized in both Canada and the US as proof of operator competency. |
