Description (Service) Qualified volunteer teams provide emotional and spiritual support to individuals with life threatening and terminal illnesses and their families * Volunteers are specially trained in hospice/palliative care and bereavement support * grief counselling * anticipatory grief support * monthly cancer support group for individuals and their families * emotional support, respite care, spiritual support, social work services, volunteer care teams, cancer support groups * SOS Survivors of Suicide  
Rainbows Huron is a peer based, group support program (not therapy or counselling) run at area schools for children and youth who have suffered a significant loss in their lives * provides an opportunity to meet with peers of the same age who have shared similar experiences * learn to deal with their feelings, to understand their grief, regain self esteem and come to a healthy acceptance of what has taken place in their lives
