Description

Description (Service) Provides support and social gatherings to veterans and their families and to the community.
  • Holds morning coffee break on Mondays.
  • Holds games and euchre night for anyone in the community.
  • Celebrates Legion Week in Sep.
  • Holds annual Poppy campaign the last Friday in Oct to Nov 11. Activities included are tag days, a parade to the cenotaph on Remembrance Day, Nov 11, followed by a service at the cenotaph and comradeship at the Legion.
  • Uses proceeds from the Poppy campaign to assist veterans and their families, bursaries for education, literacy and poster contest prizes.
Also supplies mobility devices including wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, commodes, toilet seats, lift chairs and other items on a loan cupboard basis available to anyone by donation.

Ladies Auxiliary provides support to the branch.

Hours Club: Thu 3 pm-8 pm, Fri 3 pm-11 pm, Sat 3 pm-8 pm
Coffee Break: Mon 9:30 am-12 noon
Euchre night: Mon 7 pm
