Description (Service)

Betamarsh is a therapeutic agency that provides residential and foster care for children, adolescents and adults in a variety of programs, with individualized and group therapy as essential components of treatment.

Betamarsh provides residents with long-term and short-term placements, in a safe and nurturing milieu. Betamarsh's continuity of care provides residents with support throughout all stages of their lives; from stabilization, to treatment, to semi-independence and full independence. The goal of these specialized programs is to provide the opportunity for the client to develop skills which will enable them to reach their own unique potential.

Homestead Life Skills Program:
Therapeutic Residential program situated in the country, licensed for youth between the ages of 13 and 18 years of age.

Betamarsh Foster Care Program:
Provides a family setting for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 18 years of age in specialized professional homes.

Betamarsh Independent Program:
An extension of Betamarsh's out-of-home care programs, that provides continued care and support to adolescents in the community.
