| Description (Service) | Training facility for Regular and Reserve Soldiers in Ontario and a variety of other military units and non-military agencies * Police agencies, security services and emergency service organizations from all over Canada and outside Canada use Meaford's facility to refresh their skills and knowledge Member Assistance Program - professional counsellors provide personal, confidential support 24 hours a day, seven days a week through a toll-free phone line at 1-800-268-7708 * provides support for distress, anxiety, thoughts of suicide * provides support for marital, work-related or any other concerns that could affect personal well being or work performance including harassment, sexual assault, alcohol, drugs and prescription drugs, stress and burnout * short term problem solving service * referral may be made to a professional resource for long term help or specialized service needed Family Information Line - trained counsellors provide information, support, referrals, reassurance and crisis management to Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, and their families * personal, confidential, bilingual toll-free phone line at 1-800-866-4546 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week |
