Description

Description (Service) Provides a supportive environment for men to learn, accept and embrace their roles and responsibilities as fathers, enhancing the well-being of their children.

Explores:
  • the importance of being a dad
  • how to be the best dad
  • using a child-centred approach in raising children
  • responsible parenting and co-parenting
  • the roots of and response to difficult behaviours
  • communication and stress management skills
Owen Sound and Hanover each run three programs per year in winter, spring and fall. 11-14 week group program. Includes an optional three week co-parenting program. Each session starts with a dinner.

Hanover programs runs at 425 10th Street, Unit 8.

Hours Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Sessions: Mon (Owen Sound) and Tue (Hanover) during selected session months, 6 pm-8:30 pm (dinner at 6 pm)

Application Referrals: self referral or from court system or social service organizations. Call to register.
