Description (Service) COVID-19 Response Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, the My Dad's Group sessions are operating with a reduced number of participants in-person or remotely (by video and phone) as health guidelines allow. Those interested can still call in to be put on the waiting list for the next session. 
Regular Service: 
Provides a supportive environment for men to learn, accept and embrace their roles and responsibilities as fathers, enhancing the well-being of their children. 
  • the importance of being a dad  
  • how to be the best dad  
  • using a child-centred approach in raising children  
  • responsible parenting and co-parenting  
  • the roots of and response to difficult behaviours  
  • nutrition and health issues
Owen Sound and Hanover each run three programs per year in winter, spring and fall. 11-14 week group program. Includes an optional three week co-parenting program. Each session starts with a dinner. 
Hanover programs runs at 425 10th Street, Unit 8

Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm 
Sessions: Mon (Owen Sound) and Tue (Hanover) during selected session months, 6 pm-8:30 pm (dinner at 6 pm)
