Description (Service) | Education, programs and support to people living with arthritis Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program: Community-based rehabilitation program. Physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers available. Individual consultation and group education sessions. Topics may include: • dealing with pain • arthritis medications • exercises to reduce stiffness, increase strength and improve fitness • new ways to be active and minimize stress on joints • coping with the emotional impact of arthritis • self-management strategies Support and Self-Management Programs: Online self-management courses - E-learning programs including: mental health and well-being; arthritis and work; managing chronic pain; navigating your healthcare; overcoming fatigue; eating well; staying active; daily living; medical cannabis and arthritis Support for Childhood Arthritis: Resources for families living with childhood arthritis Flourish: Online health and wellness advice, self-management tips, inspirational stories Medication Reference Guide: The medication guide is designed to help make informed decisions about arthritis treatment plans and enables individuals to ask their health care team questions around available medications. Arthritis Talks Series: This cross-Canada webinar series provides the latest guidance direct from arthritis experts, helping individuals get more out of life with arthritis About Arthritis: Arthritis Types -individuals can learn more about their particular form of arthritis from this helpful guide Arthritis Society Resources: Find a full list of online and printable resources and tools on this site Osteoarthritis (OA) Exercise Videos: Individuals can stay active at home with these videos on an Introduction to Exercise for OA, Exercises for Hip & Knee OA, and Exercises for Shoulder OA |
