Description
Description (Service) | Serves low income individuals and families living in Ripley and surrounding area who need assistance at Christmas. Each recipient receives a grocery gift card for the recipient to purchase food items for Christmas, as well as gift cards for children under the age of 18 who reside in the family home. As in the previous three years, only gift cards will be given (no toys, food or clothing items). Families may be referred by schools, community service agencies or churches. This program is fully funded by the donations of individuals, service groups, churches and businesses and welcomes donations of cash or gift cards. The Ripley and District Hamper Committee is comprised of a group of volunteers from service clubs, churches, schools and interested community volunteers and is administered through the Ripley Lions. |

Hours | Registrations must be received by Nov 28, 2024 and deliveries will occur on Dec 5, 2024. Recipient must be at home to receive the hamper or contact John at 519-955-9884 to make alternate arrangements. |

Applications are also available at the food bank Anglican Church of the Messiah (415 Russell St E, Kincardine, ON, N2Z 2A9). To make a donation, cheques may be made out to Ripley and District Lions.
