Description

Description (Service) Assists preschool aged child presenting with special needs to be included and participate fully in preschool settings and in their communities.

Services:
  • Consulting to licensed child care programs and providing early intervention and support for children with special needs in child care settings
  • Professional development and peer mentoring for Early Childhood Educators
  • Screening of child development and individualized support plans to address gross and fine motor skills, language, cognitive, social and self-help skills
  • Family support; Information and consultation to child care programs and transition planning and support to enter school

Service Details

Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, evening visits as requested.

Eligibility Ages: 6 year(s) and under Children with special needs, ages infancy to school entry that are enrolled in licensed child care in Grey County.
