Description

Description (Service) Community-based program brings together police, media and members of the public in a co-operative effort to solve crime.
  • Anonymous callers provide information on crimes that have been committed or are about to occur, or the whereabouts of wanted persons, stolen property or illegal narcotics
  • Information is forwarded anonymously to investigators
  • If an arrest results from information given, the caller is eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000
  • The media publicizes unsolved crimes to encourage the public to call with information that could help investigators

Public Comments To give tip information either call the TIPS line at 1-800-222-8477 or submit an online Web Tip 
Tips can also be submitted via the P3 Tips mobile app, available on Apple App Store and Google Play
Hours Service: Mon-Sun 24 hours
Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm
Meetings: 2nd Tue monthly at 7 pm
