|Description (Service)||COVID-19 Response Due to concerns regarding COVID 19, Grey County has declared a State of Emergency. The following public buildings have be closed to the public until further notice: The Grey County Administration Building, Grey Roots Museum and Archives, Ontario Works satellite offices, the EarlyON Child and Family Centre and the Ontario Works Van services will be closed until further notice. All of the Long Term Care homes run by Grey County have temporarily been closed to the public until further notice.
Many program applications and services can be accessed online or over the phone. Residents in need of services are encouraged to visit https://www.grey.ca. For housing assistance call 519‑376‑5744. Grey County has a webpage "COVID-19 Resources For Businesses" - https://www.grey.ca/covid-19-resources and has created the Community and Business Resiliency Map, a resource that will show Grocery and Food Retail, Restaurants, Pharmacies, Healthcare, Alcohol and Community Food Programs and Free Wi-fi in Grey County. It can be viewed here
Grey County is creating a database of PPE suppliers to support local businesses. Suppliers can enter information on what products their business can provide here. The list of suppliers will be seen on the Community and Business Resiliency Map
Grey County is seeking applications from organizations who are working with vulnerable citizens in response to COVID-19 or who are implementing new processes to keep people who use their services safe. If your organization, serving Grey County residents, is providing new or enhanced support or service(s) for vulnerable persons including homelessness support, shelter, food security, and/ or support for seniors or youth as a result of COVID-19, please submit a request for funding by Monday April 27, 2020. Please note that submission of a request does not guarantee funding assistance in part or in full. Please send your request to the attention of Josh Gibson, Housing Programs Manager, at Josh.Gibson@grey.ca. For any questions, call 519-376-5744, ext.1216.

• Primary Contact (Name, Telephone, E-mail)
• Brief description of the community service or support provided
• Value of financial request as well as a brief description of how funds will be utilized to address the needs
