Description (Service) Volunteer based organization which promotes and supports research and education in the fields of cardiovascular disease and cerebrovascular disease. 
Services include:  
* education of the public and professionals through the use of up-to-date factual information, videos and literature 
* provision of educational resources for schools, service clubs and lay groups 
* fund-raising through the Annual Heart and Stroke Foundation canvas for research 
* aid in the fight against heart disease and stroke  
* participate in special events throughout the year, such as luncheons, big bike ride fund-raiser, fit events and jump and hoop events held at local public and high schools
