Description (Service) | Curriculum-driven outdoor and environmental education experiences for the students of Bluewater District School Board. 320 acre site close to Lake Huron, the Niagara Escarpment and Bruce Trail, and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Facilities feature the ES Fox Observatory, heritage farm buildings including the original bank barn and stone farmhouse, a dormitory/dining hall, and classroom facility. Only open to the general public for open houses and events, and specific astronomical events run by the Bluewater Astronomical Society (see separate listing for details). |
