Provides food hampers for pickup or delivery. New clients in need will get a hamper within 48 hours.

Provides a Thanksgiving Hamper - call for details and to register.

Provides Christmas Hampers in partnership with the Bruce Peninsula Fire Department Toy Drive. Includes a variety of food with a choice of turkey or ham and gifts for children up to age 16.

Food and monetary donations are welcome.

Service Details

Hours	2nd and 4th Thu of the month - 10 am-12 noon. Thanksgiving hamper registration deadline: Sep 16, 2024 Pick up date: Oct 10, 2024 Christmas hamper registration deadline: To be determined Pick up date: To be determined

Application	Food bank: Walk in. Call for delivery. Thanksgiving Hamper or Christmas Hamper: Call or text to 519-378-8842 or email holidayhamperslh@gmail.com to register. Pickup time: will let client know upon registration. Delivery can be arranged. Email lhdfoodbank@gmail.com to order toys for your children. Call or email to arrange to make a donation. Donations can be placed in the Food Bank bins at Peninsula Pet Supply in Ferndale (2826 Hwy 6) and the arena in Lion's Head (30 Tackaberry St). Monetary donations can be made by cheque to PO Box 22 Lion's Head and e-transfers can be sent to lhdfoodbank@gmail.com.
