Description (Service) Employment Resource Centre  
The Employment Resource Centre is a walk-in job search centre * providing access to computers, Internet, fax, photocopier, telephone * resource materials, job banks, labour market information * assistance with resumes * referrals to job counselling and training 
Employment Assistance Services 
Employment assessment and counselling for persons returning to work * barriers to employment explored and action plan developed and implemented * job search support * referral to appropriate employment service or vocational training program including Employment Ontario-funded programs such as Job Creation Partnerships, Self-Employment Benefit, Skills Development, and Targeted Wage Subsidy 
Second Career Strategy 
The Second Career Strategy provides support to recently laid-off unemployed workers who require long-term training for employment in high-skill, high-demand occupations 
Self-Employment Benefit 
The Ontario Self-Employment Benefit helps unemployed people start their own businesses. It can provide * financial help * advice on planning a business * help as you start your business

Employment Assistance Services  
Unemployed persons who * are working less than 20 hours per week and legally entitled to work in Canada * Employment Insurance (EI) and Reachback clients (persons with an active EI claim, have a claim that ended within the last 3 years or have a maternity/parental claim that ended in the past 5 years)  
Second Career Strategy 
Unemployed persons who were * laid off as far back as January 1, 2005 * laid-off workers who have taken an interim job to make ends meet * short term training options (less than six months) for laid-off workers who are not eligible for Employment Insurance *potential additional financial assistance to cover expenses for the cost of academic upgrading, living away from home while participating in training, and dependent care. 
Self-Employment Benefit 
Unemployed persons who * are eligible for Employment Insurance (EI), or were eligible within the past three years * left work to care for a newborn or newly adopted child, and were eligible for Employment Insurance maternity or parental benefits within the past five years.
Application walk-in for resource centre * call or visit to arrange an appointment for other services
