Description (Service) | Office open to the public for employment, ESL, skills upgrading and high school credit programs.Offering in-person and remote appointments.
Comprehensive employment and job search services:
Reach for Success program available online to supports youth ages 15-30, who are not currently in full time education to gain the skills required to experience success in the workplace. Program includes: 120 hours of paid Online Job Readiness Workshops and Virtual Employment Counselling Support. Opportunity to complete training in WHMIS, Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve, a 8 week Paid Work Placement with a $750 Bonus for Individuals who complete all components of the program Contact Kim Postma EMAIL with any questions Youth Job Connection - program available online to support youth ages 15-29 who are currently unemployed and not in full time education gain the skills required to experience success in the workplace. Program includes: 60 hours of paid online job readiness workshops, virtual employment counselling support, opportunity to access supports to purchase items and training needed for employment, and a paid work placement. Assisted services (such as supported job search, job matching and placement, job retention services) -- people who are unemployed and out of school Youth Job Connection Summer -- Ontario residents 15-18 years who intend to continue high school or go on to postsecondary education after the job placement. Focus on those facing challenging life circumstances and at risk of experiencing poor transitions between education and work. |
