Description (Service) Offers help and temporary care for pets of families in need of assistance

Pet care services and assistance include:
  • trust fund to help families in need with urgent pet care costs so that pets can stay in their loving homes and avoid being taken to shelters
  • may be able to supplement emergency medical costs and special needs for care and feeding on a case by case basis
  • emergency short term foster care for pets of families who are unable to temporarily care for their pet(s) due to illness, house fire, leaving an abusive situation or drastic life change
