Description
| Description (Service) | Provides breastfeeding and infant feeding support to both rostered patients of the Hanover Family Health Team and unrostered patients. Services are provided by a Registered Dietitian/Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse Educator. In-person and virtual appointments by phone or videoconferencing are available. A free virtual prenatal program that includes a breastfeeding component is available to all pregnant women and their support person(s) whether or not they are rostered with the Hanover Family Health Team. The prenatal program classes are held once a week for four consecutive weeks. Also offers a hybrid in-person and virtual prenatal program. |
