| Description (Service) | COVID-19 During the COVID-19 pandemic, with the exception of the Durham Meals on Wheels, the Meals on Wheels and Frozen Meal programs are running as scheduled. If clients have any questions, they can call 519-372-2091 ext 3 Clients receive a nutritious meal and a volunteer visit * Special diets are accommodated whenever possible and are available in both the frozen and hot meals Hot Meals - provides clients with nutritious hot meals delivered to their door on a pre-arranged basis * Each hot meal consists of meat or fish, two vegetables, bread, soup and dessert Frozen Meals - provides clients with an alternative or supplement to hot meals * Often used on weekends and holidays and other times when hot meals are not available |
