COVID-19 Response
The Erskine Community Health Centre has reopened, but is running at a reduced level until further notice.
The social worker, dietician, community developer and heath promoters are available.
The following services are available:

Wednesday Grab and Go Breakfast
Yoga
Chair Fitness
Skills Upgrading
Mental health counselling
Weight management
Form filling, including assistance obtaining identification (ID)
Computer, internet and phone access

For all other programs and services, call or email for information.

Community Health Centre staffed by:

Recreation and Volunteer Coordinator

Referrals not required.

Offers a variety of free health and wellness programs including:

English as a Second Language Program - call for details, interpreters available
Physical activities such as walking groups (indoor and outdoor), pole walking, tai chi, yoga, chair fitness, individualized physical activity plans/consultations
Food related programs such as nutrition education and cooking classes, Craving Change, community gardens, grocery store tours, frozen meals, shelf stable meals, fresh produce when available
Mental health counselling
Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions and Chronic Pain - available virtually, call for information
Falls Prevention sessions
Weight Management
2S-LGBTQQIAP+ Activities
Form filling assistance, including assistance with obtaining necessary identification (ID)
Computer, internet and phone use throughout business hours
Leisure Programs - check calendar for monthly offerings (e.g. games, crafts, speaker series, etc.)

Service Details

Public Comments	Located in the Erskine Community Health Centre, enter off Victoria St (formerly Erskine Presbyterian Church).
Hours	Wed, Thu 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm- 4:30 pm Grab and Go breakfast - Wed 10 am-11:30 am Call for assistance outside of these times. Other agencies may be operating programs and services outside of these hours, please contact the organizing agency for your program.

Eligibility	Unless otherwise noted, programs and services are available to all community members. waitlists are in place for allied health services and priority is based on condition must enroll to have a Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner
Application	Submit a form called Request for a Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner to have primary care at the Community Health Centre. Walk in or call to register or inquire for community services and programs, as some programs have capacity limits. Volunteers need to complete a volunteer application form and a criminal reference check/vulnerable sectors screen.
Languages	Interpretation services can be arranged in advance, and sometimes on-demand if interpreter is available.
