Status as of April 7, 2022
Fourth dose (booster)
  • available for those 60 years and older and First Nation, Inuit and Métis individuals aged 18 and over or a non-Indigenous household member aged 18 and over. Recommended interval between third dose and fourth dose is five months (140 days), but may be administered as early as three months (84 days)
  • available for special populations three months (84 days) after your third dose if you are a resident of a:
    • long-term care home
    • retirement homes
    • elder care lodge
    • other congregate setting that provide assisted-living and health services to older adults
Public health units will work with homes who offer fourth doses to arrange for a mobile clinic to come to your home or lodge.
 
Third dose (booster)
  • All individuals over the age of twelve are eligible to receive their first, second and booster shot. Youth can receive the booster shot six months after their second dose. Individuals who are 18 years or older must wait three months after their second dose.
First and Second dose
  • All individuals over the age of five are eligible to receive their first and second dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.
