Community Services identifies gaps and issues in community services/health and raises awareness about and develops solutions for those issues. Often this translates into program development.

• SIRCH has served as an incubator for over 30 programs/services, many of which have been divested to other organizations once up and thriving. The common thread in all that SIRCH does is the focus on strengths and competencies and 'outside of the box' thinking.
• As an incorporated non profit organization with charitable status, SIRCH currently provides the following programs/services:
  • CAPC/CPNP - Pre and Post Natal Nutrition Program
  • School is Cool - Kindergarten readiness program
  • Board Game Cafe
  • Repair Cafe - repair expertise help people in the community repair their broken belongings
  • Share the Warmth - free winter gear given out 2 times per year in the fall
  • Community kitchen - The Bistro has two programs that address food insecurity, and isolation: Community Kitchen, and Lunch Is On Us. 705-457-1700
  • Thrift Warehouses in Haliburton and Bancroft - A huge variety of furniture, household goods, electronics, and more, sold at reduced prices
