Description (Service)	Relies upon volunteer firefighters to provide and deliver fire protection and prevention services to the community runs local public fire safety education and fire prevention programs provides fire suppression services conducts inspections to enforce the Fire Code Other services: vehicle firefighting grass, brush firefighting basic medical assist with defibrillation vehicle accidents vehicle extrication water and ice rescue - shore based public assistance participation in community emergency plan
