Provides practical and emotional support to residents of Haliburton County in their own homes, in the hospital, and in Long-term Care.

Caring, trained volunteers give caregivers a break from the rigors of caretaking, provide support to the client with the illness, and provide all family members with helpful information pertinent to ongoing care and support.

All volunteers are trained through Hospice and Palliative Care Ontario.

After the death of a loved one, we can provide one-to-one bereavement support to family members to help them cope with their loss.
