Description (Service) | Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve Limited is a privately owned forest in Central Ontario's Haliburton Highlands. Over 100,000 acres of rolling hardwood forests, pristine lakes, meandering rivers and extensive wetlands, make it a nature enthusiasts' dream. Haliburton Forest offers unique outdoor experiences throughout the year such as The Walk in the Clouds, The Wolf Centre, mountain biking and camping in summer and dogsledding and snowmobiling in winter. Outdoor education programs are offered year-round. Property use permits are required for any entrance into Haliburton Forest. At the Base Camp services such as accommodation, restaurant, equipment rentals, as well as gasoline and propane sales are available.
