|Description (Service)||Salvation army provides Christmas hampers to singles, seniors, families and couples in need. Hamper includes food and toys.
Clients & Individuals can register by calling to set to up an appointment to apply for a Christmas Hamper. ID for all household members and proof of address & income will be required. Registration closes Dec 3, 2019
Clients will be informed of a pick up date and time for their hamper at time of registering.
Donations of food and toys will be accepted for the 2019 Christmas Hampers until Dec 9th, but food is accepted any time of the year for the Salvation Army Food Bank. Any toy donations past the 8th will be used the following year if they can not be used for 2018.
Angel Tree - a toy drive where individuals wanting to provide toys for a child can pick a child's name off a tree and donate toys for that child. Trees are located throughout Wingham at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, Stanton's Home Hardware, Foodland, and PharmaSave & Red Apple
Volunteers are required for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive. All donations given to the Kettle Drive help support the Food Bank and stay in the community. Call Debra at 519-357-1387 for more information on volunteering.
