Description
Description (Service) The Lonely No More (LNM) program is a free phone based, peer support program for rural seniors that addresses the need for socialization in a safe and protected space. The LNM program consists of weekly teleconference calls (known as Elder Circles) with between 3 to 5 older adults, facilitated by skill enhanced community volunteers. The program focuses on three outcomes: peer support, health coaching and system navigation. The LNM participant and new collaborators facilitate community events such as:
  • Storytelling Club to find ones voice and share stories features live storytelling, prerecorded tales and opportunities to engage with others. Last Thu of the month at 7 pm. Video and phone-in options available. Register online or call Coordinator Sarah 
  • Weekly jam session for those interested in listening or sharing musical talents. Participate from the comfort of home. Fri at 3:30 pm. Video or phone-in options. Register be calling Coordinator Sarah
