| Description (Service) | Services and supports that build overall capacity and encourage participation of children, youth, families, and community Ability Awareness Services - Group of young people with disabilities who raise public awareness of "Abilities" and "Possibilities" through public speaking * Kids on the Block troupe of life-sized puppets who educate children, youth, parents, teachers and the community about disabilities, abilities and inclusion Adapted Fitness Centre - Access to fitness facilities at TVCC, schools and in the community for clients with education and support from staff Parent Mentor Services - Mentoring program for parents of children with special needs to assist in navigating the education system Pediatric Acquired Brain Injury Community Outreach Program (PABICOP): Outreach program for children and adolescents with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and their families Recreation Therapy - Recreation activities and leisure for children with disabilities Social Work - Social work services for children and families Youth-Based Services - Various services for youth that assist in planning for their future, skills development and developing connections with other youth |
