Description (Service) | Health centre providing family health care and * residential and non residential programs * referrals to other regional health services Provides culturally appropriate programs and services combining traditional and western medical practices * also seeks to improve the social supports and conditions that affect long-term health Residential Programs for families, men, women, youth, and young adults include: * trauma recovery * individual, group, family and couples counseling * diabetic weight control * addictions counseling and therapy Non-Residential Programs include: * youth groups * birth and parenting supports * healing circles * wellness/diabetes/nutritional workshops * community training * sweat lodges * traditional ceremonies and fasting |
