| Description (Service) | Outpatient Assessment and Treatment Service (OATS) provides a goal-directed service for individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges where care needs cannot be met through other community resources. Services through OATS are time limited (6-9 months) and may include psychiatric consultation, as well as group therapy and individualized supports for treatment and recovery. Services may include:

| Eligibility | Individuals 16 years and older experiencing moderate to severe mental health conditions. |
| Application | Referrals to OATS must be completed by a Primary Care Provider using the Waypoint Referral Form. Completed referral forms need to be submitted to Waypoint's Central Intake department. For more information regarding referrals, please visit the Referrals at Waypoint information page or contact Central Intake at (705) 549-3181 ext 2308. Following acceptance to the OATS program, a Clinician will contact the client directly to schedule an Intake Assessment. |
