Description (Service) Conditions such as depression and anxiety are not just “in your head”, they involve and affect your whole system. Participating in dance and movement exploration may significantly improve mood and feelings of well-being for people with anxiety and depression, while offering other health and social benefits. No experience with dance or special skills are required to participate.
*NOTE: This program is part of a research study on the effects of dance on health and the brain. The study involves EEG (electroencepholography – a non-invasive technique of reading electrical activity from the scalp), and completing some short questionnaires.
