Description (Service) Education Services can provide: 
     
  • Support in developing achievable education goals
  •  
  • Collaboration with community educational facilities to support clients in their chosen endeavors
  •  
  • Assistance in accessing available funding opportunities
  •  
  • Support with basic literacy and numeracy
  •  
  • Specialized instruction in specific areas of interest
  •  
 
Employment Services can provide: 
     
  • Specialized support to meet mental health needs in employment
  •  
  • Employment counselling (1-to-1 or group programming)
  •  
  • Individualized goal-based services to identify skills, strengths and interests
  •  
  • Develop employment readiness skills, and continued support on the job
  •  
  • Networking and working collaboratively with community resources and other service providers
  •  
  • Support with job search, resume/cover letter and interviews
  •  
 
Recreation Therapy Services can provide: 
     
  • Encouragement to develop a meaningful leisure lifestyle
  •  
  • Developing a positive attitude toward leisure involvement
  •  
  • Individual and goal-oriented programs
  •  
  • Increased awareness and access to cultural/social and recreation opportunities in the local community
  •  
  • Assistance to build skills towards becoming active members of the community, including volunteer opportunities
  •  
 
Music Therapy Services can provide: 
 
     
  • Support in reaching their mental health recovery goals in a creative and therapeutic environment
  •  
  • Collaboration with clients by using evidence-based music strategies such as musical improvisation, therapeutic songwriting, and active music listening
  •  
  • Individualized treatment plans that build upon clients’ unique strengths and experiences
  •  
  • Music Therapy services in both 1:1 and group settings
  •

Areas Served Barrie ; Christian Island ; Collingwood ; Midland ; Orillia and area ; Penetanguishene ; Springwater ; Tay ; Tiny ; Wasaga Beach
Boundaries limited outreach available within Simcoe County
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
Anyone who identifies with having a mental health illness and requests services
