Description (Service) These clinics are intended to provide walker and manual wheelchair equipment prescriptions to seniors living in the North Simcoe Muskoka (NSM) Local Health Integration Network (LIHN) catchment area
  • clinics are open to seniors requiring assessment for a walker/wheelchair and/or wheelchair seating
  • clinics are held at senior's centers, retirement homes and care facilities across the catchment area
  • clinics do not include information or service related to power or tilt wheelchairs, custom fabricated seating or scooters

Eligibility Must fall under the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care's definition of a senior and live within the North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN catchment area. Must have a valid OHIP card. If under 65 must have a physical conditions making them dependent on having a wheelchair for mobility.
