The Simcoe County Museum will be closed from November 2024 to June 2025 to facilitate the renovations for the upcoming Matthews Expansion project. The Museum will continue to conduct programs to local schools.

County Museum offering indoor galleries that are open year-round.

Gallery displays include:

  • Archeology and Native Displays
  • 19th Century Street of Shops
  • Living and Working Gallery
  • Gallery of Changing Exhibits
  • Natural Resources Gallery
  • Variety of Open-Air Exhibits
  • School Programs
  • Sensory Garden
  • Gift Shop

Special Events can be booked through the Education Department.
