Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response Until further notice the following service changes will be effective: * The Parry Sound office will be closed * First Link Care Navigation and Supportive Counselling services will be offered by phone or online * Education events, support groups and Minds in Motion offered Online * Social Groups including Drop In’s are available online * Company of Good Cheer Dinners will be cancelled until further notice Regular Service: Supports for people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and their caregivers with a mission to provide meaningful support that helps people live well with dementia Support Groups for caregivers and persons living with dementia Company of Good Cheer: brings caregivers, people with dementia, friends and others for dinner, support and R&R Drop In's: For caregivers and persons living with dementia to get together in a social recreation setting Minds in Motion: A physical activity and brain stimulation program for individuals with early to mid stage dementia and their care partners Other services include: * support counselling * educational information, sharing and discussions about Alzheimer disease issues * educational services for public and service providers * presentations to community groups * in-service training * public and secondary school education program * music iPod program |
