Description (Service) Provides mental health care system navigation and support for young people under 30 yrs and their parents/guardians in Muskoka .
  • Assists youth who are struggling mentally to find the help they need. Mind-Aid navigators works with individuals to identify areas of concern and helps sort through the complex mental health care system to determine the best resources for the situation such as counselling and therapy, social worker, support groups, addiction supports, legal supports, LGBTQ2S+ supports, funding, psychoeducation and more.
  • The navigators can help refer the individual to the appropriate resources and advocate for them where difficulties arise.
  • Also provides training for Suicide Prevention and Mental Health First Aid
